At 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007, the Queer-Straight Alliance at Montana State University (QSA-MSU) will host Vidur Kapur for a one-hour comedy special in celebration of National Coming Out Week. The event will take place in the MSU Strand Union Building Ballrooms.

This performance is free to all members of the public, and financed by matching grants from the Pride Foundation and the Office of Student Activities. This is the first time in QSA’s history that it has received grant money.

“QSA is extremely excited for Vidur’s performance,” said Josh Hemsath, QSA’s President. “His storytelling, level of enthusiasm for this event, and comic personality will truly celebrate this year’s National Coming Out Week.”

Mr. Kapur’s appearance in Bozeman is the highlight of a week’s worth of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of National Coming Out Week.

Queer-Straight Alliance is Montana State University’s and Bozeman’s premier lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning advocacy organization. QSA empowers its members and others to promote awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ and allied community at MSU and in the Gallatin Valley.
